Pure white, additive-free oboro kombu made by shaving only the core of kombu, which has a strong umami flavor.
Except for the black skin of the kombu, the craftsmen shaved it one by one. The oboro kelp that the craftsmen shave at once has an exceptional umami and aroma.

It is eaten with udon, soba, soup, and rice.
